Every day, solo teachers are doing the best they can to meet the diverse needs of their students in classrooms across America. However, the teachers that are part of PLCs (professional Learning Communities) are part of a team that utilizes focused collaborative meetings to improve their practice. Effectively, they are able to maximize their learning which in turn improves their abilities to serve students. In others, teachers deeply engage in a continuous improvement cycle.
Professional Learning Communities are not just department or staff meetings. The are meetings that go through a "PLC Cycle" in which the answer the following questions:
What do we want students to learn?
How do we know if they learned it?
What do we do if they didn't learn it?
What do we do if they did?
While there are amazing and great resources for PLCs, often teacher teams simply find it difficult to get started. This web application simplifies the PLC process and gives teams the ability to track their progress. So whether you are new team or an experienced PLC, this web app is for you.
